East Beach Playground (Cabrillo Pavilion)

East Beach has a playground close to the Cabrillo Arts Pavilion/Bathhouse. It has a 5-12 play structure and separate climbing structure over sand with 4 slides, a mountain climbing section, a rock wall and other climbing equipment. There are also toddler and regular swings. It is near the zoo: https://www.google.com/maps/place/East+Beach/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x80e913bee40c331b:0x2f6514214343f19f?sa=X&ved=0CB0Q8gEwAGoVChMI7PqFwPuwxwIVypSICh2j7AIK

Pros
There is a bathroom (a couple minutes walk) on the far side of the restaurant.
The climbing sections are fun.
 The walkway provides nearby shade.

Cons
The park is fairly close to the water and does not have a fence around it.
Parking does cost at the beach, but is generally easy to come by. There is little street parking near here.
There are generally homeless people on the benches in the walkway.

Swings!
