San Miguel Open Space is a tucked away open space located in the extreme "north" of Goleta (it is west really regardless of the name of the freeway). It has a 5-12 play structure over sand with a twisty slide, 4 climbing areas, a sliding bar and swinging rings. It also has toddler and regular swings. Pros
Great climbing equipment for the older kids.
It is never busy!
It is contained for the little ones.
Cons
No Bathrooms
The structure is high and not suitable for littler kids.
